Overview

YouTube Clips is a Chrome extension that adds a clip creation and sharing feature to YouTube. This policy explains what data the extension accesses and how it is used.

Data Collection

This extension does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. No analytics, telemetry, or tracking of any kind is performed.

Permissions

• clipboardWrite — used solely to copy the shareable clip URL to your clipboard when you click "Share clip." No clipboard content is read or stored.
• youtube.com/watch* (content script) — the extension runs only on YouTube video watch pages to inject the clip creation and viewing UI. It does not access any other websites.

Third Parties

No data is shared with any third party. The extension communicates only with YouTube's own page (to read video playback state) and does not make any external network requests.
